Club Ashfield has an extensive, wealthy and enthralling background to its historical formation which dates back to 1966. The support was so widespread in the Ashfield area, that the residents rallied behind the development and helped facilitate the incorporation of the Ashfield Catholic Club in 1963. The fresh building consisted of an auditorium to seat 400 members, billiard room, and games room and prohibit service available on all floors. The after major expansion was in 1982, when the Club acquired the fruit shop next door and extended to accommodate the growing number of members and to confront their changing catering demands, which had diversified over the years. Then in the slow 1980's, the first floor was refurbished into a bistro and function room. The Club is continuously renovating to meet the growing needs of our members and have since acquired 1 Charlotte Street and converted the building into an Award-Winning and thriving Ca. There have also been major developments to the Club on the ground level, there has been the expansion of the new TAB area, a relaxing outdoor area that is set with a backdrop of sandstone features and water fountains. There have also been substantial renovations to Level 1 with the addition of a brand new kid’s area which caters for children up to 12 years. The area includes a play gym, PlayStation games, and box games and toddler wall games. The Club has also revamped the Function rooms, with the addition of a fresh board room with state oft heart facilities. The Club continues to exist as a social and sporting club providing to its members and members' guest, ordinary Club facilities, sporting, musical, educational activities and other social amenities. The Club will continue providing for its members and the local community, in supporting the local community with over 110,00 donations per year.

Members and guests are needed to be neatly, cleanly and appropriately attired at all times. To maintain the tall standard enjoyed in our Club we request the dress rules are followed. Football shorts, stubbier or short shorts. Not to serve alcohol to intoxicated persons. Procedures will be followed to ensure the safety, comfort and well being of all customers and employees. We feature meet painting, hula hoop competitions, and nonstop dancing and music with our two themed hostesses and mascot. The style of jazz music varies from week to week, from swinging customary jazz to jazz with a Fresh Orleans flavor, The Bridge City Jazz Band is incredible and offers a captivating presence. Whatever the occasion, Club Ashfield is the perfect venue for your next notable event. Ideal for business conferences and executive meetings. Ideal for sports and games, dance lessons, meetings and training sessions. Some of our recipients are listed below. From one senior team in 1974, the club has progressed to many senior and junior teams from the ages of Lower 9's to Below 16’s. The club has won many competitions in both junior and senior grades. Club Philosophy for junior players It is planned that all children who register and play for the club develop both cricket and social skills. It is an entertaining couple of hours for members where there are quite a scanty laughs had during the nightly competition. As a sub club of our parent club, we are bound by the laws and regulations governing the operation of an Association. The Purpose’ of our golf club is to bear quality value based golfing opportunities, for our members. Financial management financially self enough and adult ready via financial tracking and reporting. Club reputation of which members can be proud. The Golf Club would like to receive this opportunity to thank the Directors of the Parent Club for their continuing support, without which the running of the Golf Club would not be possible. We also have across the pool races for the small ones.
