Kirk Apartments in Burwood are secure, vertical Independent Living Units designed with a warm and contemporary village feel for people over 55. We aim to produce all levels of care, including dementia and palliative care, to our residents so that, as far as possible, there is no need for them to move to any other facility. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and contribute to the life of the Village. Important individual resident rooms with interior design feature, and en suites are available in all low protection rooms, and the secure dementia specific unit. The facility has also specialized in providing care services to the local Chinese population and has created a living environment that focuses on, promotes, and supports this group of residents and their culture. Our services range from low slick care, to caring for people with tall or complex needs who wish to remain in their homes. Presbyterian Aged Protection uses an enablement approach to assist our community care recipients. Presbyterian Aged Care also offers a chap Social Promote Individual program which monitors the health and well being of people with dementia living in the community.
