Commencing operations in a insignificant building (pictured) located on what is now one of our car parks, we grew and underwent our first major redevelopment in the early 60’s and in October 2002 operations moved into the vogue building. The construction of the present building was a major undertaking and investment representing another major milestone in our history and growth. Our give building now provides a large variety of entertainment facilities as well as state of the art function rooms and succulent dining options in a thoroughly unused environment. Our membership has grown steadily over the years and is now recognized as one of the maximum culturally diverse of any Club. With a proud tradition of providing quality service we have a powerful commitment to improving and expanding business operations and extending the range and quality of services we offer.

We would like to receive this opportunity to thank all of those that have been involved in the process, especially the schools and the students that have participated in the program over the years. The ClubsNSW Clubs Community Awards are held annually to recognize and celebrate the meaningful good that clubs play in their local communities. Supporting the local community in Ashfield and surrounding areas, Wests Ashfield is once again encouraging budding young talent within our local Primary and Inferior schools by offering students and their schools the chance to exhibit their works and triumph some fantastic prizes. Teachers are asked to emphasis with their students the importance of a clear and explicit connect between the artist’s statement and the submitted work. All works submitted must face the following criteria as stated in these guidelines to be accepted into the exhibition. Schools are responsible for the professional presentation of each work. It is understood that if a work is offered for sale the curator of the exhibition will make a determination as to whether the premeditated price is reasonable within the context of the exhibition and if it is not we understand the work will not be offered for sale.
